Meet the team...

 

Ken BruceKen Bruce B.Sc.(Hons), C.Eng., M.I.C.E. – Supervisor, Northumberland County Council

The lead County Council representative onsite, Ken's role is to ensure the design is clearly and efficiently translated to the contracting wing of the N3 partnership and that works are carried out to Highway Authority standard. Along with Dave Bennett, Ken will also be liaison for public enquiries regarding site activities.


Dave BennettDave Bennett M.I.H.T. - N3 Project Manager, Carillion

Dave is site based, and is responsible for overseeing all site based operations, including liaison with the public and other members of the N3 partnership.

 

Mark SmithMark Smith Hnd - Sub Agent, Carillion

Mark is based on site, and will assist Dave with the management of the site which will include issues on safety, quality and programme.

 

Geoff CarrGeoff Carr -Works Manager , Carillion

Geoff is based on site, and is responsible for the day to day activities of the site including safety, labour, plant and subcontractors.

 

Tom DowlingTom Dowling M.Eng – Assistant Engineer Bridges, Northumberland County Council

Tom has previously carried out the design of the proposed Climbing Tree Railway Bridge and shall be assisting onsite during its construction.

 

Douglas McDonaldDouglas McDonald B.Eng.(Hons), M.I.H.T. – Assistant Engineer Highways, Northumberland County Council

Douglas has previously worked on various aspects of the highway design and shall be assisting the team onsite.

 

Derek SmithDerek Smith C.Eng M.I.C.E - N3 Contracts Manager

Derek is not site based but has overall responsibility for the project on behalf of Carillion. Derek is also responsible for all N3 project works.
